Building Management Systems / Direct Digital Control Panels
Direct Digital
Controller is a controller which use the analogue or digital signals from
various devices of a field sensor and actuators and then process and control the
system based on the program written inside the controllers and has the
capability to sends the information to another controller or DDC.
Direct Digital Controller usually
consists of Analogue Inputs (AIs), Digital Inputs (Dis), Analogue Output (AOs),
and Digital Outputs (DOs). Modern DDC controller have the capability to
implement BACnet protocols for communication. DDC is used to provide control
mechanism of Building Management System (BMS).
The lighting controller evaluates
input control signals based on its algorithm and decides whether to adjust
lighting power, when to adjust it, and by how much. The controller may be
installed as a logic circuit within a standalone control device or as a
separate component within a control system.

Panels as well as Lighting Control Panels (LCPs).
